Signing up
To use the app, create an account here. It’s quickest to just log in with a Google account, or you can use your email address.
It’s free to log in and explore the app.
Once signed in, if you look at the File dropdown at top left, you will notice one file has your email address in its name, this is an uncoded file for you to practise coding in. This document contains background information about the project in the example-file in order to set the data in context.
You will also notice a file just called
example-file
: this is a complete coded file for you to practise analysis on. It is a read-only files so you won’t be able to edit anything.Once you have signed up, you will be automatically signed in the next time you visit Causal Map. You can use any of the example files in there to practise, and/or create your own file with up to 50 links. For anything over 50 links look at subscription options here. Two-factor authentication (2FA)
